Chantal’s POV

For most of the entire afternoon, we were just busy with the things we needed to do. Because I was next to Mateo, I couldn’t help but watch how he moved and how serious he was when it came to working. This was why he could seal the heavy deals. Anyone couldn’t deny he was indeed hard-working. The way he hustled himself was way out of line because, in my opinion, he was so cool and good-looking, and he seemed to be dashing whenever he held a piece of paper.

‘Am I crazy because I imagined his site with sparkles around him, or was it a code that I had fallen for Mateo already?’

“Do you need anything? Why are you looking at me?” he asked me, and he was now leaning back in his chair.

I changed my mind and found the documents about shares that he needed to find. When I saw his two hands in front of my desk, I looked up at him, and he touched my chin, which caused a sudden heartbeat.

“Are you hungry?” he said and held onto my chin.
