Chapter 3

Chantal’s POV

Mateo walked towards me until I couldn’t walk another step more and realized I was pinned on the wall.

“Fuck!” I shouted in the back of my head.

He held the lingerie and flashed his deadliest smirk. “Aren’t you trying to provoke me again?”

I was shocked, urging my hand to slap him, but Mateo caught it and pressed me against the wall. “Can we talk a much nicer way?” he asked me.

I looked at the man in front of me as the scent of vanilla enveloped my nose, causing my throat to dry. Then, when I felt Mateo’s grip loosen a little, I held onto his hand and changed our positions so that Mateo was now against the wall and I was in front of him. I smiled slyly at him, and as I said, “Sure,” Mateo winced in pain.

Walking away from the wall, I left Mateo in awe. He followed me to the sofa, and I followed his moves with my gaze. When he sat down, I didn’t miss a beat and asked, “What do we need to talk about?”

Mateo leaned back on the sofa, looking comfortable, which only annoyed me more. Suddenly, he said, “Bring it in,” and I was alarmed.

The door suddenly opened, and a man entered, heading toward us.

I panicked, “What are you doing?” I asked as I looked at the man in a suit walking towards Mateo.

Mateo chuckled as he looked at me, “Did you even have time to drink your coffee or change your clothes? Don’t tell me you’re into me already.”

Mateo’s voice was so captivating that it was casting a spell on me, but I remained composed and said bluntly, “Are you going to tell me or not?”

Mateo smirked, making his perfectly sculpted lips shine. The man left the room, and Mateo took something out of the envelope and placed it on the table where we sat.

“I’m sure you don’t want to marry me because of what you said last night, and believe me, the feeling is mutual,” Mateo said, looking at me as I held the paper placed on the table.

I gazed at the paper and the man before me, “You don’t want to, but why did you agree in the first place?”

Mateo stretched his neck and seriously faced me, “I need you to do something for me, and I will do the same for you. Isn’t that a win-win situation?”

I looked at Mateo and noticed a bulge between his thighs. Mateo chuckled and said, “We need to pretend we are a great couple. We just need to keep up the act for a year, and that’s it. In return, I won’t tell anyone you gave your virginity to someone like me.”

[A week later]

“Oh my god! Who is he? Did he just start working here? He’s so handsome,” exclaimed my coworker Victoria, who was gushing over someone in the lobby.

I wasn’t easily attracted to such events, but something caught my attention, making me feel more awake after a busy day at work.

“Chan, it’s your fiancé!” Victoria screamed.

I looked at the man holding a bouquet, walking towards us. I almost puked, but a smile appeared on my face as I remembered what I had read on the contract before.

[Flashback]

“Fuck buddy? Didn’t you already have a girlfriend? Why was this condition involved?” I asked. All of the conditions were okay for me, but this one made my brows furrow again.

Mateo cleared his throat and bluntly said, “She wants us to wait until after marriage.”

I couldn’t believe what I had just heard and shook my head.

Mateo started to fix his clothes. “A man has to fulfill his n-needs,” he said, stammering.

With my arms crossed, I watched Mateo being followed by a group of girls. He greeted me with a smile and a kiss on the cheek, presenting me with a bouquet. “Flowers for you,” he said.

I smiled and played along, “Oh, thank you so much, honey! How thoughtful of you!”

The girls in the lobby squealed with delight, unaware that the display made us want to puke.

Victoria put her hand to her face, “I wish someone would fetch me after a tiring day at work! Goodbye, lovebirds!”

We said our goodbyes and left the building. As I worked for my dad, Mateo had to maintain a presentable look.

Inside the car, the silence was deafening until I spoke up, “Would you like to come with me shopping?”

Mateo looked at his watch, “Sure. I cleared my schedule for today.” His deep voice echoed in my head, and I watched the buildings pass by outside.

As we drove, I had an idea, and a smile spread across my lips.

I was sitting on a mall chair, watching Mateo’s back as he stood in front of the ice cream stall. His figure was almost obscured by the paper bags he carried.

I had hoped to get rid of him by making him carry everything I bought, but Mateo was so persistent in helping me that I failed in my mission.

Suddenly, a cup of ice cream appeared before me, and Mateo smiled. “Let’s go home,” he said.

I accepted defeat and decided to go home. Back at my place, I instructed Mateo to put everything I had bought in my room. He did so silently, and as he finished, I felt guilty and opened my door for him.

Mateo stretched his back and asked, “Can I ask a favor?”

I hugged myself and hesitantly replied, “Sure, what is it?”

“Can you turn around?”

I was in awe and turned around, and in a split second, I was pushed to the back of my door. Mateo placed his bulge between my butt cheeks, making me groan silently.

Mateo pounded his bulge between my legs hard, and while catching his breath, he said, “Say please, and I’ll rip your skirt apart.”
