Mateo’s POV

I approached her to kiss her forehead.

“Having a meeting with Luis about the missing money, don’t let yourself get overloaded with work,” I said to her, then I headed out.

I was glad that Luis kept on looking into it even though there was too much work and even though he was not charged with the lost money, out of that act he helped me.

I’m grateful to Luis and Chantal for finding this out.

I was already down on Luis’ floor, and my heart was beating loudly.

I knew he had already told me that my dad used that money, but for what purpose was it used something unexplainable?
