Chapter 13. Lucien Wood, I Hate You
The Pearsons are finally done with their breakfast. They had ignored Lucien throughout the meal, pretending like he never existed.
At this moment, Juliet excuses herself as she receives a phone call from the office. She had not attended to the matters of the office since before her wedding.
She walks to the living room to receive the call.
One by one everyone stands up to leave the dining table. That’s after they each glare at Lucien as they pass him.
Lucien merely chuckles seeing this, seemingly not bothered at all.
Their behaviors always seem to amuse him with each passing day.
His big phone suddenly vibrates in his pocket and he looks around to make sure no one is close by.
Satisfied, he brings out the phone from his pocket and looks at the caller’s I.D.
It is Declan his right-hand man.
