Chapter 29

Kyle grunted in pain as he landed hard on the muddy floor.

"Again." He heard the gruff voice of Gerard above him.

He grunted and picked himself up. He growled hard and charged towards the older man only to find himself back on the floor seconds later.

"Again." Gerard folded his arms, a stern gaze on his face. "We will keep doing this until you get your form right."

Kyle grunted and picked himself off. They were at Mandy's house. He along with Gerard, Richard, Jeremy and Mandy's parents. Ever since the trip at the hospital, Gerard had scheduled training for both Mandy and Kyle. Kyle's training regime was more rigorous, giving the strength of his werewolf gene compared to Mandy's. A slightly weaker gene meant tougher training methods. Gerard had made it a point to be his personal trainer and Kyle saw the stark difference between a history teacher and a werewolf fighter. The training had been going on for hours. As exhausted as Kyle was, he preferred it to being home.
