Chapter 30
Jeremy excused himself and walked over to him. Gerard signalled to a corner of the frontyard by the gate and they moved towards there.
Jeremy studied the appearance of the older man. It was so strange seeing him in a different attire and without his glasses. He waited a black tank top and black shorts with fingerless gloves. His muscles looked firm and somewhat threatening. A silly imagination of him shattering a rock with his fist suddenly entered Jeremy's mind and he couldn't help but grin a bit. Gerard faced him and Jeremy quickly wiped the smile away from his face.
"What's the matter, Mr White?" Jeremy asked.
" I finally told Mandy."
"Told her what?"
"About what happened sixteen years ago.
Okay.
And she looked genuinely surprised. Which must mean you never told her about her discussion that night. Why?
