Chapter 52

Jeremy shifted and groaned as a pleasant smell assaulted his nostrils. The previous day had been quite exhilarating and exciting. Well, exciting on his part. He had managed to make new friends who just happened to be werewolves. The idea of a potential pack had been forming in his head as the guys seemed comfortable around him and talked with him with respect. They also seemed to be drawn to his calmness and level of intelligence on certain topics. The only downside to the previous day we're the two females. Mandy and the Hispanic girl, Selena. He didn't know why but he had detected some sort of animosity between the two. The conversation between the two girl's had been tense and though they had smile on their face, even a kindergarten would know it was strained. Hopefully, they get to squash it soon.

He sank his face deeper into the pillow and hummed against it. A moan came from the pillow and Jeremy smiled. Then he came to his senses as realisation set in.

Pillows don't moan.
