When Nick opened the coffee shop’s entrance door again, Angeline stood back, watching the fuming Aria storm down the stairs. Inside the hall, people were too busy with their orders to pay attention to Nick and his ordeal.
Kevin sensed things weren’t going well and rushed to the counter before Nick could get to it. “Did you find her?”
He stopped short, looked around the room, and took some deep breath before directing his attention back to the half-panting manager, “Do you have any idea who she is? Can I get something like her contact or an address or anything?” There was sweat on his forehead, threatening to rush down his face, but he put his hand inside his pocket and pulled out a handkerchief. He dabbed it across his forward and breathed out again.
