Chapter 6

Nick held the door and wished almost immediately that he hadn’t when he saw Mike’s shoe on the floor. A feminine figure was under him. They both lay on the couch in Nick’s office. The gasping sound and the soft moans caught his attention. He grabbed Angeline’s hand, moved out of the space, and banged the door closed with his back to it,

“I’m sorry,” he started, forcing a smile, “I think my brother is in a position that doesn’t need anyone seeing him at the moment.” He stared into a blank space for some minutes, “Please, get back to your office. We’ll go through the screen views and the minutes later.”

Angeline stood there with a lean smile that looked too fake to be real on her face, “Okay, sir.” She straightened her skirt before walking away. Nick stared at her tiny hips sway from one end to the other. The scene he saw minutes ago flashed across his mind again.

He drew the door handle and e
