Chapter 34. The Pain in Love
Kate's POV
I tiptoed back and closed the door gently as if I did not feel bad about that. As if I was fine. As if I did not care. This was my first shock ever since I fell in love with Matt. When my mother talked to me about catching her boyfriend in bed with another woman, I did not understand why she broke up with him and couldn’t move on again.
“Very tough girl, huh?! I know you are hurt in there,” Catharine annoyingly pulled my legs.
I wished I could hurt her with something or just push her from where she stood to the last floor as vengeance, but it wasn’t a good distance that would kill her or break her like me.
“I am not hurt. If he loves Angela, it’s fine. At last, you have found whom he loves,” I respectfully said. “I am just his maid.”
She kept laughing at me, maybe my facial expression was damn bad! I could not hide the pain. Yeah, I could not!
The politician, for some time, was just gazing at me from head to toe and then rested his eyes
