Matt's POV

“How’s her condition, doctor?” he asked a doctor who passed by, with Kate following him. “Tell me something, Kate.”

“He said she will be fine, that’s all he told me.” She sat on an empty chair beside her, holding a diary to her chest.

‘She will be fine? Not possible.’ I talked to myself, putting the gun back into my coat and moving to them as I changed my plans. She did not talk, she just looked at me.

I wasn’t putting on my usual face. I was wearing the mask of the devil. I was just angry and not ready to tolerate it. I sat between them and crossed my legs too.
