Chapter 38. Mountain of Isle; The Battle of Isle

“It’s gone,” Jasmine muttered below her breath. Her gaze was focused across the blue river.

Something isn’t right. Strange things are happening beyond her expectation. The mountain of Isle just disappeared before they could get the chance to cross the blue river.

The mountain of Isle is believed to be the heart of the land of the dead and now it’s gone. With the blue river circling the mountain two times. It’s the safest place to be.

 Max became spellbound and paralyzed so he couldn’t move. It’s still a mystery how a mountain could just vanish before they could know it. This wasn’t supposed to happen.

“Max,” Jasmine called out interrupting his deep thought. “What should we do?”

“I have no idea.” Max slumps to his knees. It has been a long journey and there’s no way he will still walk back the same miles he walked to get to the mountain of Isle.

All hope is gone. The mountain is gone. All they could see is a plain greenish land circled
