Chapter 52. Hello Again, Vito

Anna’s heart skipped a beat as she locked eyes with the man. There was an emotion in his eyes that made her heart drop. She could not explain it but she knew that there was evil in him. And she had a feeling that it was actually the mafia boss and not a twin or something. 

“You…I met you on the plane,” He said, starting the conversation. “You were the one who accused me of being someone else. Vito Marino.” 

“And I still think you are,” Anna replied firmly, taking a careful step away from him. 

“Anna…” Zac was ready to scold the girl. 

“I know, I know,” she replied in a frustrated tone before apologizing. 

“It’s fine. Anyway, it’s a coincidence seeing you two here. I actually came here to visit a friend.” 

Anna did not believe that, of course. She wanted to tell that to his face. She wanted to ask him more questions because she felt like he was lying but she knew that Zac would not like that and that it would be disrespectful
