Chapter 56. The Coffee Shop

Anna liked that Carly was not asking too many questions and was catching up to speed already, even though she barely had enough information. 

“Then let’s leave then,” She said, attempting to get into the car but then realized that it was not hers. It was not the one that the company had issued to her and Zac. It looked exactly the same so her brain had fooled her into believing that it was the car. 

“We have to take a cab,” Anna said, sighing and running her hand through her hair at the same time. 

“We don’t, I have a car. It’s not company-issued or anything, it’s my very own car,” Carly said, now leading the way. “Where are we going though?” 

“Anywhere but here. Maybe we can find a coffee shop not far from here. What do you think?”
