Chapter 106. Handcuffed and Taken

The words echoed in her head and it all felt like a fever dream. So many eyes were on her, but that was not all. So many others were recording too.

Her heart felt heavy and pounded so hard in her chest. All of this wasn't real, right? It wasn’t. It had to be a nightmare.

It had to be. 

“You are under arrest for working with Zac concerning the murder of Liam Whitaker.” The words kept playing in her head as she was taken to the police car.

“Watch her head,” one of the other officers standing by said as they opened the door of the car and got her in.

She could not even believe that any of this was happening. She sat in the police car, handcuffed. She looked around and could not escape the shock she was in.

She did not say a word. She just kept quiet until they reached the station. Before she knew it, she was sitting in an interrogation room. Alone.
