Chapter 105. Admission
Anna headed down the hallway and passed a lot of students. She still had a lot of anxiety but she tried her best to brush it off and focus on going where she was told to go.
She climbed the stairs to the fourth floor and then made a turn. That was when she reached the wooden door that looked like it cost a fortune.
The university had an older aesthetic, almost as if it was built years ago.
She knocked on the door, her heart skipping a beat when she heard someone speak. The person was telling her to go in.
She reached for the doorknob, it was cold to the touch. She turned it and then went inside, closing it once she was in.
Her eyes landed on an older man behind a wooden desk that was shiny. He looked up from his computer and removed his glasses.
“You must be Anna Hall.”
“Yes. Yes, I am,” She replied as she took a seat not too far from the stage. Her heart was thumping in her chest and she feared that the man could hear it.
