Chapter 112. Snitching
Her chest heaved, her vision blurred by the tears that wouldn’t stop falling. The cold air stung her wet cheeks, but she didn’t care.
All she could think about was Zac—how much time did she have before the police showed up at the cabin? Could she even get to him in time?
And to make things worse, she had no idea where the cabin even was. She did not even know that he was at one until her mother told the detective.
Anna turned on her heel and bolted down the street, her legs moving on instinct. She did not look back. She did not want to be near anyone but Zac right now, especially her family.
Her mind was screaming at her to figure out a plan, but all she could focus on was getting to him. She had to stop this before it was too late.
“Anna, please!” Kevin’s voice echoed behind her, but she ignored it.
