Anna barely said a word as she and Lorenzo left the mansion. 

Her mind was a chaotic mess, replaying everything over and over. Had she really just agreed to this? Entering into Victor’s world wasn’t just reckless…it was suicidal.

But again, although it might sound like a broken record. She did not have a choice.

The cold night air did nothing to cool the heat of anxiety burning in her chest. She was sacred, and rightfully so.

Stepping into the world of someone who had literally had a car almost hit her was not the brightest of ideas.
