Chapter 180. The Wine House

When the maid was gone, Anna was tempted to go inside, take a long shower, and maybe get ready for the day, but she knew she didn’t have the energy for any of it.

And she didn’t have the time either. She needed to get to Chadwick and find a way to convince the guy to get her an invite to whatever event that he was about to host.

She could only guess that he was about to host something, or why would he be coming for wine?

He seemed like the party kind, even though he kept that part of himself out of the news and public eye. 

So what she did was wait for the maid to go away before opening the door even wider and stepping out. 

She combed through her hair with her fingers and made her way to the back of the house. The maid had said the wine house was not far from the guards quarters.

And she was right because Anna soon saw the building. It was not huge but it also was not particularly small either.
