Chapter 194. Untouchable

Anna forced a shaky laugh, her mind racing for a way to keep him distracted. If he realized what was happening even a second too soon, everything could go wrong. 

And you know what? She could not afford that. She was so close to freedom that she could taste it. She just needed to hold on for a few minutes and everything would be over.

She would be able to go back to her life. She would be able to see Zac and maybe be with him if he would be able to forgive her for what she did with Carlos.

She would be able to see her family and they won’t be so worried about her anymore. She would be able to go to school and be normal.

She would finally be able to live without anxiety.
