Chapter 33. Ultimatums
Anna could not believe what she was hearing. Her heart raced, and she felt the adrenaline rush through her veins.
This had to be a joke, a way to manipulate her and her brother. But from the look on her half-brother’s face, it might have been true.
Then, it meant that she was not the one responsible for her mother’s accident. She had thought she was the one responsible because her mother was in the car because of her.
“What the f*ck?” Kevin was now on his feet, a look of rage crossing his face, too. “You’re telling my sister and me that you and your father almost got my mother killed because he wants a child from her while she’s married and they’re not together?” He seemed disgusted.
