Chapter 39. Hellish Bargains
As they approached another grand door, Zac stopped and turned to Anna. “You need to understand something, Anna. Every deal has its price. Are you sure you’re willing to pay for it?”
Anna’s determination wavered, but only for a moment. “Yes,” she replied firmly. “I’ll do whatever it takes to help my family.”
And she was being serious. If Vito had actually orchestrated her mom’s accident, then she could not put anything past the guy.
She needed help, and knowing now that the Marinos had a deal with Zac already for protection and power, she was glad that she had not left it with her mom and had come to the right person.
“I will tell you the price later,” the demon king said nonchalantly before entering the last room. The walls were all mirrors, but instead of their reflections seen on them, it was more of people stuck in them.
