Chapter 40. Her Unholy Guardian
Anna closed the door and leaned against it for a few seconds before finally walking towards her and sitting on it.
Her father was at work already and she knew that her mother was going to leave soon. Then, she and Kevin would have the house to themselves.
Anna was not just going to sit and do nothing. And if that meant that she would have to disobey her mom, she was willing to do that.
She was looking at the bigger picture here, one that involved her life and the lives of her family.
