Chapter 45. The Interrogation Room
The sirens grew louder, the sound filling the air. Glancing out of the window, they saw that people were already gathering around the house.
Anna knew that it must have been because of the shower of bullets that had rained down on their house.
It must have had the whole neighborhood shaken that one of them or all of them called the police. She could not blame them; she would have done the snake if she was going to be in their shoes.
“So what are we going to do?” She looked back at her brother and Zac.
“Simple, explain what happened. Explain that everything was normal until gunshots started to plague the house. But keep…”
Kevin didn’t let the guy finish. “But keep Vito and Armano out of it.” He nodded, completing the demon king’s sentence. “We know, we know.”
There was no door anymore because it had been blown off its hinges, so when the police arrived, they walked right in.
