Chapter 41. Going Back

As I walk into my room, Marco is in the way as I try to close the door. He pushes his way in before closing the door behind him.

"What do you want, Marco?" I ask while I step back, still feeling uneasy and on edge. Tiredness quickly draining the immense energy I had before.

"You." His word is firm and loud.

I stop. I look up at Marco; his eyes are fixed on mine. My heart begins to thunder in my chest.

"I want you, Lucia." He announces, and he takes a step closer, and I move back.

He says that, but it's not possible. Surely even he realises that it isn't possible? "You have Roxy." His brows pull together, and he frowns at me. "You're engaged to Roxy. Business or not, you're going to be her husband."

"I will fix that. I will change it, Lucia." He affirms, and part of me gets excited. The excitement quickly dies when I realise it isn't as simple as him just saying it's over. He's the Don, he agreed to marry
