Chapter 15
Leticia laughed so hard her ribs hurt, and she nearly fell off Jun’s hold. She and the prince had been on the stream’s bank chatting nonstop about their past, recalling funny and embarrassing scenes, and sharing pieces of personal information about themselves.
Leticia learned that Jun was twenty-one — they had to do some math to get that; he didn’t like fruits or greens; he beat up his previous trainer when he was just fifteen — the man fell into a coma for weeks, and now, he was stuck with his father’s best friend and general whom he absolutely despised. But the saddest fact was how much he hated being prince and heir. He conferred that the pressure was as unbearable as the responsibilities and expectations were impossible. He chuckled bitterly when he affirmed that his love life wasn’t going to be another duty for him; he was going to marry someone he loved or not at all.
She also got confirmation that her opinions on their species not being human were correct. H
