Chapter 265. Screamer

The night weather was chilly with an unsteady breeze. Queen was staring at the voodoo dolls hanging in Alice’s voodoo shop. The glass door has a closed sign on it. Queen didn’t bother walking away, after all, some of the dark witches sleep in their voodoo shops. Peeping through the glass door, she could barely see anything as it was dark in there.

She has applied the doorbell several but there was no response. At least she’s certain this is where Alice stays. Perhaps she could return the next day and question her if she has seen her twin. Just as she was about to leave, she heard a swift movement inside the shop.

‘Alice is avoiding me,’ she said to herself. Peeping through the glass door once more, she became certain she heard a movement when she saw a torch light on the floor. The light from the torchlight lit the scene but there was no sign of anyone around. ‘Alice is playing tricks on me.’
