Chapter 34

Mia paced around her bedroom wondering who was after her life. She tried to think of possible people who could want her dead, but no one came to her mind. Mia knew she had never offended anyone, at least not intentionally. She was a sweet and lovely girl with no heart to hurt anyone or even harm anyone. Why would someone want to come after a sweet soul like her?

"I have no idea what to do," she lamented to herself as she kept pacing around. "I do not know who those masked men were, who sent them, or if they were working alone. This is just one big puzzle I can't seem to understand or even piece," she added with a sigh and walked towards the window. She leaned on it and looked out the window.

"Have I done something wrong to anyone?" She asked into the air and looked up at the sky. "Oh, Moon goddess, please, make peace with the heart that is after my life. If I've done something wrong to that person, please forgive me," she prayed and closed her eyes.
