Mia noticed Heartman's shocked look with a mixture of displeasure. "Is everything alright?" She asked him.

He quickly regained his composure. "Everything is alright, I guess. I'm just shocked to see the daughter of Jayden, a man whom I'm sworn enemies with, in my pack," Heartman replied.

"I do understand your point of view, sir. We were just obliged to," she said to him.

"Obliged to do what? You called yourself a Heartman, what do you mean?" He asked her inquisitively.

Mia shrugged. "We were forced to marry each other to unravel the continuous mysterious deaths of the red wolves happening in both packs. We had no choice but to oblige, as it was said that our union would aid in unraveling the mystery," she explained to him.

"The death of red wolves occurs in your pack too?" He asked her in surprise and she nodded. "Why the union? How does it solve the problems we have found ourselves in?" He questioned her.

"I do not know, sir, but I believe your son will
