Chapter 133. Please, Come Home

Marissa's eyes felt like lead when she tried to open them. The difficulty it took for her to do something so natural surprised her.

"What is going on?" She thought frantically, then sighed as she was able to succeed in her undertaking, opening her eyes.

She winced as the muted lights in her room pierced her overly sensitive eyes. She quickly closed her eyes as she wondered what was wrong with her system.

"Am I coming down with something?" She wondered, then braced herself before opening her eyes again. The pain was still there, but it wasn't as severe as the first time. She looked at the white-washed p.o.p. ceiling above her and frowned.

"No, this is not right," she thought. "The ceiling of my room is patterned with unicorns and it was nowhere like this." She turned to her side to see if she would see anything familiar. Maybe she had just been groggy with sleep, and that was why she had seen the ceiling as plain and unpatterned, but the sight she beheld look
