Henrietta, who was massaging her baby’s gums, beamed at Marissa and said, “Hey there, friend. I know Tomiwa would ask one thousand and one questions from you coupled with Emma's, but I am going to ask this: how was Ritz, Paris? Was it as glamorous as people said? Is it true that Coco Chanel stayed there for about thirty-four years?” she asked before lightly rocking her fussy baby.

“Everything you heard about that place is true and more. I will gist you better later” She nodded at the baby and asked, “Is Somto still keeping you up at night?”

“Yeah, he has been really fretful since he started teething. Playing one minute and turning to this angry face in the next.” She cooed at her baby, “My poor boy, I can’t imagine how painful it is for him so I can only do what I can to help.”

Marissa pointed at the rhythmic, gentle massage that Henrietta was doing on the baby’s gum as the latter held on to his mother’s hand like he did not want her to remove it. “That works?”
