Chapter 153
Belle’s POV
When my father and Zoren walked out of the house, I parked the car in front of Zeke’s house.
“Is my father still helping the hunter, Zeke?” I asked, frowning as I looked at my father and Zoren.
“Yeah, Gina is still missing, so your father is still looking for her. Please stay for dinner so you can talk to them,” Zeke explained as he unbuckled his seat belt.
“OK, I’d like to know how my father lives with that girl,” I replied to Zeke, and, like him, I unbuckled my seatbelt and exited the car.
“The kid is here,” Zoren says as we walk down the path.
“Dad, I’m inviting Belle to dinner,” Zeke said as we got closer.
“That’s good; I also need to talk to her about the hunter blade,” Zoren said with a half-smile.
“Sheriff, you are welcome to join us,” Zeke said, looking at me and nodding.
“Since my daughter will be staying at a friend’s house today,” Henry responds, laughing.
