Chapter 14

Sophia’s POV

Our fall was cushioned by some sort of large river. Prior, to landing in the river, we had been falling for what seemed like an eternity. We all started swimming in a bid to get to any sort of dry land. We swam hurriedly towards the nearest shore. As we swam, we noticed that the water was becoming more viscous, making it more difficult to swim.

“Is everyone alright?” shouted Lucas.

“I think you pretty well can see that we are in the middle of some sort of river,” replied Camilla.

“Has anyone noticed the that water is getting thicker?” I asked.
