“We need to focus on finding a solution,” I said calmly.
“There is a solution.” Seta said quietly. “We turn around and go back home, find a ship to Greece or Carthage or something, away from here.”
“How do you propose we do that?”
“The Hieroglyphics are all over the walls Neath, I can read them, I can find us a way out of this damned place.”
I shook my head “Seta, you know we can’t do that, Imhotep will follow us anywhere.”
He looked at me quietly, then shook his head. “Goodbye Neath.” He said, turning around he looked at Hopi. “Are you coming with me or not?”
Hopi threw me an apologetic look, “Sorry, Neath.” He said.
“It’s okay Hopi, I understand.”
Without sparing a look back, Seta and Hopi walked into the darkness. I stared at their steadily shrinking backs until I could see my friends on more.
