Chapter 83
God 4: Dioceses
“LAST BOAARD!!!” The big, red headed man roared, untying the ship from the pier as it sails unfurled.
“Come on man,” my friend Heraclitus yelled, running as fast as he could at the ship, me not far behind him
“Almost there!” I yelled back, weaving my way through the crowd as the ship slowly moved away from the dock.
We were goanna miss it!
Heraclitus got there first, jumping of the pier and landing on the wooden deck. The sailors gave a ragged cheer and egged me on.
“Come on!!!” Heraclitus screamed, leaning off the pier and holding out his hand.
Running as fast as I could to build momentum, I leaped off the pier, as hard as I could. Time seemed to slow down as I moved through the air, my eyes focused on the deck ahead.
I miss it, grabbing on to Heraclitus’ hand as I narrowly avoid plunging into the freezing waters of the Aegean sea.
“Gotha,” he said, pulling me up as the men on the deck cheer loudly again,
