Chapter 18. Plan to Get to Know Iris Better
An already bored Iris sat with her books to study in the living room after breakfast. Being grounded at twenty was the worst thing possible. Who grounded a twenty-year-old mature woman? She fumed inwardly as she tried to concentrate on her studies. Her dad sat correcting some answer scripts while granny sat down with them, flicking through a fashion magazine.
"Iris, do you like this dress? I love it. Let's get this design stitched from Bluebonnet Apparels," said granny. Iris peeped from her chair and nodded excitedly. Her dad looked up at them with exasperation.
"Mom, at this age do you wish to wear such bright, revealing clothes?" he asked with a groan.
"Oh c'mon, old son. Those clothes aren't revealing at all," she said. "Who says I'm old? I'm quite young at heart, mind you," she informed her son with a glare.
