Chapter 22. Misunderstanding Him

Alexis’s eyes went wide with shock. Did Drake really introduce her as his girlfriend? But why would he do that when he already had one? Or did he? 

“Wow! You two look so cute together,” said Mary Ann, who had just gotten engaged last week to her long-term boyfriend. Drake introduced everyone, but Bianca stood frozen with an angry glare on her face, just like that of a rabid dog. 

“This is Harry, our trainee Manufacturing Engineer,” said Drake as Harry came forward to get introduced. 

“Hi, I’m so thrilled to meet you, Alexis. If you ever break up with DR, I’m always there for you,” he said with a wink. Drake pushed him away while Alexis laughed.

“That’s never gonna happen, Harry. So, FO,” grinned Drake, looking smugly at Harry’s disappointed face. 

“You forgot to introduce me, Drake darling,” said Bianca, as she walked up to them. Drake was startled to hear her pick up that endearment. Alexis’s eyes widened as she gaped at Bianca.
