Chapter 27. Why Are You in My Bed?

Alexis sighed and closed her eyes to sleep. She had to wake up early and go to college tomorrow morning. The last two days had completely changed her life. Now she was blissfully happy and couldn’t wait to tell the world that she was taken for life, that she was dating now! She had almost dozed off when the bed dipped and she was pulled into a warm body. Startled, Alexis opened her eyes to find herself flush against Drake’s warm, bare chest. Her eyes widened with shock! Was she dreaming, or was he really here? Turning, she stared into his hypnotic eyes, which winked at her. No, he was indeed real!

“Drake, what are you doing on my bed?” she asked him with a small smile. She wouldn’t admit it that this was what she had been missing, cuddling in his arms. 

“Sleeping with you, what else?” he asked, pulling her closer. 

“No, please. I don’t want to end up doing it. I want to sleep,” she said, with a deep blush staining her cheeks. Drake chuckled.
