Chapter 33. Saving Nate

A grand rehearsal dinner was organized, and they all got ready and rushed out. Claire didn’t have any time to think of an alternative plan at all. She and Andrea rushed over to the party venue, which was the sprawling outdoor covered deck overlooking the tranquil creek. A sparkling fountain and bistro lights added to the rustic charm of the place. Everyone was in high spirits as they rehearsed the entire event that was to take place the next day. Drinks flowed freely, served with innovative signature appetizers to set the mood rolling. Everyone was laughing and enjoying themselves, except of course Claire and, to some extent, Andrea. 

Claire just couldn’t get away from a very determined Nate, who was hell-bent on chasing her everywhere. The whole evening he stuck to her keeping his arm draped around her possessively. With the spy constantly keeping a watch over her, she was scared for Nate. Claire knew he would surely report to Chris, and she had no idea what he would do.
