Chapter 7. Project Partners or Life Partners?

The next day, Nick was excited to be able to see Iris. After dropping her home yesterday, she was all he could think about. The images of her wide-eyed stare as she had checked him out, her pink plump lips and curvy body which had collided with his own, robbed him off his sleep. He wanted to see her again. He felt much better and his ma, thankfully, served him a delicious dinner. 

He drove towards his college and parked his car. "Hey Nick, how are you today?" asked Martin, parking his motorcycle.

"I'm good. So what happened yesterday?" he asked casually.

"Well, nothing much except that Porty kinda missed you in the class," said Martin with a laugh.

"Impossible, he hates me," grumbled Nick. His dad was held up at the restaurant and had called Eric Davenport and apologized for not being able to make it to the meeting.

"On the contrary, I think he enjoys pulling your legs. Yesterday he just covered boring topics without giving us any breaks,"
