Chapter 12. Sleepless Night

Iris was upset that Nicholas left suddenly, ignoring her completely after that passionate embrace, having expected him to kiss her. She was already twenty and yet she hadn't received her first kiss! She glared at Pilot angrily while he looked at her guiltily. If he hadn't interfere, maybe she would have received her first kiss tonight! Nicholas Taylor was indeed the hottest guy on earth, and she wondered how hot his kiss would be. She bumped into her granny, lost in her thoughts.

"Where have you left your senses, dear?" chuckled granny, and Iris blushed.

"Sorry, granny I wasn't looking. Did you get hurt?" she asked steadying granny.

"Oh, not at all. So, did someone take away your sanity with him?" asked granny with a wink.

"I don't know what you're talking about. I was just thinking about the project," she lied, but couldn't hide the blush that crept up to her cheeks.

"Ah, the project, " said granny with another knowing chuckle. Iris groaned at her l
