Before Scarlett could even begin to think of what she should do, the door suddenly swung open, and Leah came in. At her back were were two males who were acting as guards. She bore the same appearance that she had always had, which was that of a snake. She was wondering what the chances were that she would be standing in the same room as her after such a long period of time.
While there was a portion of her that was concerned that Leah would figure out who she was, she reminded herself that if more than one hundred people were unable to recognize her before and after photographs, then Leah would not be able to either. In spite of the fact that her heart was weary, she clung to that reassurance.
