In acknowledgement of the arrival of the day, Scarlett's eyelashes fluttered. The previous evening, she arrived home fatigued and unable to take any action on the situation. The sensation had first been one of hunger, but she quickly realized that it had transformed into tiredness, and even after she had eaten, the food did not eliminate the feeling.
She was unable to stop thinking about her sons, despite the fact that she was feeling this way. In spite of the fact that she was aware that they had been cared for in the same manner that she had been, she could not help but think about them. She detested it because they had never been far from one another before.
