When they arrived at the quarantine, Scarlett was taken aback for a brief moment since there was such a significant difference between the place they had entered the day before and the one they were currently in. 

The quarantine was teeming with Lycans of varying ranks, and they were everywhere. Those who were infected with the plague were confined to a room at the back of the building, which was not too far from the room where they were being treated for their illness. These were the precautions that the Lycan king had taken to ensure the safety of his subjects, and they went into force this morning. 

She was unsure whether or not she would be able to experience the same level of freedom that she had experienced the previous evening. Because of this, her ability to concentrate might be affected, which was something she did not want to happen.
