Chapter 57. Avoid Her

Prince Harad's POV

I stare at her in a daze, has she guessed who I am?

My brain goes into rewind but finds nothing. Then she simply explodes in laughter and points at me.

“Harad, your face!” she screamed. “I mean, the King is the only one in the Kingdom with a jet. Why would he use his private property to send for you?”

I breathe a sigh of relief as my mate is in a playful mood and has set her sights on me. Hopefully, she remains like this.

“No, he doesn't do that often,” I answered. “He has sounded the alarm and ordered all Lycans outside the Kingdom to return. And we are the last. I wonder what's going on.”

She avoids eye contact and stares at her plate.

Now it's my turn to tease her. “Maybe you are more important than me. He never sent his Jet for me before, so it must be all about you.”

The smile is off her face, she now looks worried. I grin at her, if only she knew what awaits her in the Kingdom! I can't wait for her reacti
