Book 2: Chapter 26

Martina continued to struggle in Antonio’s grip, her anger not yet spent. "Antonio, let me go!" she shouted, her voice raw with fury.

Antonio held her firmly, his voice calm but stern. "Martina, I'm going to let you go, but you need to stay calm. We can settle whatever this is amicably."

Martina stopped struggling for a moment, taking deep, ragged breaths.

Sophie, wincing from the pain, managed to stand up, using the floor for support. Her eyes were filled with a mix of fear and anger. Camila could see the blood oozing out of her nose and even though she wasn't on Sophie's side, she couldn't deny that Martina might have overacted a bit too much. 

Camila extended her hand to help Sophie up, "Are you alright?" she asked but Sophie shoved her hand off, with a look of disdain in her eyes.
