Gabriella stared at Enzo with a puzzled look, her father? "Is he dead?"

"Do you want him dead?" Enzo asked, his tone serious. 

Gabriella shook her head quickly, her eyes wide with alarm. "No, of course not! Why would you ask that?" 

Gabriella bit the inner corner of her mouth, it was true that she resented her father for what sold her off to pay off his gambling debts but wishing him dead was not something she desired not after seeing the way Luca was killed. 

Despite everything, he was still her father,  locking him up in jail would be a better option if it came down to that. 

"He might end up dead regardless," Enzo said.

"What?" 

"You do know that he is not your biological father right?" Enzo asked staring at Gabriella's eyes, to see if she perhaps was already aware.
