Enzo chuckled at her words leaning back into his seat and crossing his legs, but the laughter barely reached his eyes. He folded his arm over his chest staring at Gabriella intensely. He found it amusing that she still felt that her life was hers especially now that he had just killed someone to protect her.

"My father before he passed away, went through a lot of sacrifices to get the family to the top. One would say that his mission was to not only get us to the top but to keep us there, so when he died I took it upon myself to make that dream real. No scratch that," Enzo said leaning forward.
