Chapter 221. A Place to Rest

After her shower, she dried her skin and wrapped the towel around her body before heading out of the bathroom. She went to the room next door, just like the lady had told her. In the bedroom, there were some clean and fresh clothes waiting for her.

She closed the door and then headed towards the dresser and took a lotion and some deodorant before using them. Then she took off her towel, got dressed, and walked over to the mirror and looked at her reflection.

She had eye bags, and the white part of her eyes was a bit red. She was a bit bloated as well, and the acne on her face could be seen from even a couple of feet away. She did not look her best, but again, why should she when everything was going to sh*t?

She peeled her eyes off herself, sighing weakly before making her way out of the room and heading down the hallway. Then she made her way down the stairs. The first thing that greeted her was the smell of food, and gosh, it smelled so good.
