Kade POV
“Keep an eye on her,” I ordered.
“Copy,” Holden replied.
“What’s the plan? We’ve got hunters and the Luna’s on the run,” Atlas said from the backseat.
I turned my phone off and started the car. The Luna’s on the run, alright. The Luna ceremony was in two weeks, but what if I didn’t have a wife then? The thought that Gabbie would give up her wolf and choose them killed me.
“Relax, I’ve called backup,” I said.
Holden and Atlas stared at me as if I were crazy. I didn’t trust him at all, but with this, he was the best guy for the job, and I knew he’d come running.
“He’s on his way,” I said. I hope I don’t kill him, though.
Hours later the pain in my ass walked into the kitchen.
“I leave her with you for two minutes, and you lose her.” Alex threw his arms in the air.
“Hey, I didn’t intentionally lose her.”
“Besides, we know where she is,” Atlas countered.
